Venn Group’s specialist team is excited to be recruiting for a Data Protection Officer and Governance Consultant on behalf of a prestigious client. This fully remote role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact in data protection and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with Member Complaints: Support the Monitoring Officer in handling member complaints and providing advice on general governance issues.
* Guidance on Information Assurance: Advise the Information Assurance Officer on complex requests and data breach incidents, ensuring compliance and effective resolution.
* Strategic Data Protection Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of strategic data protection matters, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Training Delivery: Develop and deliver training sessions on data protection and governance to enhance organizational knowledge and compliance.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in data protection and governance.
* Strong advisory skills with the ability to handle complex information assurance requests and data breaches.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
* Open to part-time and full-time candidates, offering flexibility to suit individual needs.
