Job Description:
Statutory Accounting Tax Specialist
* Start Date: ASAP
* Temporary: 5 months
* £200 per day (via umbrella)
* Hybrid working/London white city
Tate Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside an established pharmaceuticals company who are looking for a Statutory Accounting Tax Specialist. Your role will be to provide expert advice to superiors for a sub-area within FRA (Financial, Reporting and Accounting) and related key activities; to ensure compliance with external and internal accounting reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
* Manage audit reporting processes and support compliance for Corporation tax related reports; provide necessary data to internal and external authorities.
* Manage activities in the area of Statutory, Tax and Treasury related topics for multiple legal entities.
* Contribute to key projects at country or BU level.
* Provide all data needed for internal (Financial Consolidation and Reporting System) and external reporting (including statutory accounts, national statistics, and Corporation tax information) in a timely and accurate manner for all UK entities.
* Manage audit reporting processes and support compliance for various Corporation tax related reports; provide necessary data to internal and external authorities.
* Manage Transfer Price Documentation
* Internal customer satisfaction with quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of financial analyses provided.

* Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
* Internal customer satisfaction with the quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of financial analyses provided.
* Customer satisfaction of service delivery and process specific KPIs in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
* Proven experience in finance operations, financial reporting, and team management.
* Knowledge of SAP, BW, and Excel; experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
