Job Description:
Direct Tax Manager required for a listed Transport & Logistics business!
- 12 Month Contract
- £400/500 Per Day (PAYE)
- September Start Date
* Responsibilities
- Supporting our client’s corporation tax reporting team during year-end, half-year, and forecasting processes, as well as preparing corporation tax returns.
- Assisting the team with change projects and implementing efficiencies.
- Conducting capital allowance analysis review for fixed asset expenditures.
- Aiding the team in maintaining strong relations with HMRC.
- Contributing to raising tax awareness within the organization.
- Addressing discrete tax technical questions.
- Potentially engaging in broader corporation tax issues, depending on workload.
* Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified ACA / ACCA / other accounting credentials, ideally with CTA / ATT qualification and/or several years of post-qualification experience in tax.
- Proven experience in corporation tax compliance and reporting.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Project management experience.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders.
* Desirable:
- Knowledge of relevant software (Excel, Oracle, OneSource).
- Experience in providing capital allowance analysis.
