Air Conditioning Engineer required, for our client, a HVAC services provider based in Berkshire, who operate around the Home Counties. The Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for reactive and planned service and maintenance across commercial sites in and around the M3 and M4 corridors. The engineers will be working on commercial sites such as offices, hotels, schools and medical buildings etc.
Air Conditioning Service Engineer Remuneration Position
* Basic salary - £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
* Working hours - 42.5-hour week plus overtime
* Travel paid after 30 mins
* No on call rota
* Company van, with private use after probation
* 28 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year (up to 5 additional days)
* Sick pay
The Air Conditioning engineer will be performing service, maintenance, breakdown and fault-finding tasks on & Air Conditioning equipment such as VRV’s, VRF’s Splits and Multi-splits.
It is expected that the Air Conditioning Engineer will have proven experience within the HVAC industry and hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and refrigeration or the City and Guilds equivalent as well as F-Gas 2079 or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.
Air Conditioning Service Engineer Position Requirements
* Experience carrying out servicing and repair works on Air Conditioning equipment
* Live within commutable distance of the M3 / M4, ideally close to Reading.
* F-gas certification
* Full driving licence
