Description
* Overseeing daily reconciliations and spreadsheet production
* Managing month-end Sage rollover and reporting
* Producing Board reports and financial forecasts
* Supporting our Treasury operations and ensuring compliance with our treasury policy
* Training and supporting Finance Technicians and Assistants
* Assisting with year-end audit queries and ad-hoc projects
Profile
A successful Assistant Finance Accountant should have:
* AAT or Finalist with ACCA, ACA, or ACMA
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Team player with excellent communication skills
* Experience with Sage 200 and month-end accounts production
* Intermediate Excel skills and a solid understanding of audit processes
* Experience within Financial Services
* Knowledge of payroll processes
* Previous experience in process automation and improvement
