Sales Manager required. My client is a leading Marine treatment firm who operate on a global basis with ongoing projects in the Middle East, Europe and the United States. They are now seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their Southampton based team. The ideal candidate will come from a water treatment background, will have excellent Business development experience, will be prepared to travel as required and will be based locally to Southampton.
You must have a full driver’s licence and a valid passport to be considered for this role.
Sales Manager Position Overview * Developing a new customer base
* Promoting company products and solutions
* Proactively visiting customers to introduce the product range and arrange training sessions where necessary
* Creating and updating new leads database
* Supporting company promotions and exhibitions
* Providing details weekly sales reports
* Travelling as required, destinations may include but are not limited to; Miami, Europe and Saudi Arabia
Sales Manager Position Requirements * Technical background with at least 3 years’ experience in selling wastewater solutions
* Proven record of sales growth and success
* Previous experience selling into water companies and industrial markets including but not limited to; Pharmaceutical, Food and Drink and Green processing
* Experience and proficiency in developing / winning new business
* Qualified in Business Administration and / or Engineering
* Experience working within ISO9001, ISO19001 and ISO18001
* Prepared to travel with the role
* Full drivers’ licence and valid passport
* Based within a commutable distance of Southampton
Sales Manager Position Remuneration * Salary £70,000 - £100,000 DOE
* 5 hours Monday - Friday
* 31 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
