Job Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified nurse to take on a challenging role within one of London’s leading A&E departments and work as part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities:
* Conduct preliminary patient examinations to assess the patient’s condition.
* Refer patients to other departments such as osteopathy, radiology, and cardiology.
* Receive patients from Paramedics and take over their care.
* Share information and updates with family members.
* Analyze test results.
* Take detailed and accurate notes.
* Apply dressings and administer pain relief, antibiotics, and other medications as required.
* Complete all necessary discharge paperwork.
* Maintain care standards in accident and emergency.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
* Minimum of 6 months experience in an ED department.
* Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a high-pressure environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
