Job Description:
The Company
Axon Moore are recruiting an Italian Speaking Accounts Payable role for a global company based in Irlam. The company has multiple sites within the UK as well as offices overseas and the main finance function is covered from this office in Manchester. They are huge company, very well established globally and they’re looking to add another team member to assist with smooth running of the function.
About the role
The purpose of this role is to support the accounts payable function, managing transactions processes, processes, queries, reporting and completing supplier payment runs. You will collaborate remotely with two other sites in the UK, sites in Italy and the main head office.
Salary – £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus banks, life assurance, Pension up to 8%, cycle2work.
Main Duties
* Processing invoices into the system, ensuring PO, quantities and goods received have been matched.
* Identify discrepancies and liaise with internal teams such as purchasing, operations and external vendors to resolve.
* And shall taxes correctly accounted for on invoices.
* Maintain vendor accounts and reconcile monthly statements and any related transactions.
* Once matched, liaise with divisional finance to propose payment schedules and ensure vendors are paid promptly.
* Employee expenses - process these in line with company policy and seek approval when needed. Charge expenses to relevant accounts.
* Daily cash and bank reconciliations.
* Reconcile direct debits, an allocated cash and monitor the age creditor report.
* Be involved with the month in process an support where needed
* Protect against fraud by managing the master data processes and running vendor verification checks.
* Maintaining confidentiality to protect the organisation values.
* Adhering to SLAs and KPIs within the agreed expectations.
Person specification
* At least two years’ experience working in accounts payable
* Fluent in Italian - reading writing and typing
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Knowledge of accounting systems and ERPs
* Organised, able to prioritise with strong attention to detail
* Strong team ethic and capable of working alone
* Strong problem solving skills, looking to take action or ask questions where required
* Full driving licence would be required
