Bennett and Game currently have the opportunity to assist a growing Architectural practise based in central Glasgow with their search for a Senior Architect. Our client have established an outstanding reputation, developing a healthy pipeline of work, therefore are seeking an experienced Senior Architect who has the ability to take ownership of a project.
This practice specialise within the Retail, Office, Industrial, Commercial and Residential sectors. Projects include new builds, refurbishments, extensions and fit-outs. It would be highly advantageous for the Senior Architect to have professional experience within at least one of these sectors.
The successful Senior Architect will be responsible for managing projects, work closely with clients, attend site, working through inception to completion and oversee projects.
Senior Architect Position Overview * Project runner and design team coordinator generally focusing on a single primary project
* Client liaison on small commissions under guidance of team leader
* Representative the practice externally through client and consultant liaison
* Mentor for less experienced staff members
* Developing project and team leadership role within the practice
* Developing design approach and bringing experience to the realisation of design concepts
* Key role in the development of design proposals from inception to completion
Senior Architect Position Requirements * Relevant Degree Qualified, Essential
* Minimum of 5 years’ post Part III experience is preferred
* Living in a commutable distance of Glasgow
* Proficient in either AutoCAD or MicroStation
* Good working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign, advantageous
* Highly Motivated with an excellent work ethic
* Experience working within a variety of sectors, ideally commercial, retail and residential
Senior Architect Position Remuneration * Competitive salary, ranging between £40,000 - £48,000
