Job Title: Social Work Assistant
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Department: Children’s Services - Locality Team
Reports To: Senior Social Worker / Team Manager
Job Purpose:
The Social Work Assistant will support the Children’s Locality Team in providing comprehensive social work services to children, young people, and their families within Cardiff. The role involves assisting qualified social workers in case management, providing direct support to children and families, and contributing to the safeguarding and well-being of children. The Social Work Assistant will work closely with various stakeholders, including schools, health services, and community organisations, to ensure a coordinated approach to meeting the needs of children and young people. Please note for this role you must be registered with Social Care Wales and you must have previous experience within a Social Work Assistant role within the UK.
