Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on the patentability of biotechnology inventions and providing strategic IP guidance
* Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the field of biotechnology
* Conducting patent searches and analysing technical and legal issues
* Managing and maintaining client patent portfolios
* Representing clients in proceedings before the European Patent Office and other relevant authorities
* Collaborating with other attorneys and technical experts to deliver comprehensive IP solutions
Requirements:
* Qualified or near-qualified Biotechnology Patent Attorney (finals standard to 2 years PQE)
* Strong background in biotechnology, with a degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide high-quality service
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
