HR Advisor - retail industry * Job Type: Full-time, office based
* Location: Birmingham
* Salary: £30,000 - £34,000
We are on the hunt for a dynamic HR Advisor to enhance our retail clients HR team’s capabilities in Birmingham. This role is perfect for a proactive individual with a knack for excelling in a fast-paced environment and delivering top-notch HR support. 
Day-to-day of the role: * Oversee the integrity of HR systems, ensuring all data and records are meticulously maintained.
* Craft detailed reports and master Excel spreadsheets with advanced functionalities.
* Design and update job descriptions, person specifications, and craft compelling job adverts.
* Orchestrate the recruitment process from shortlisting to interviewing and onboarding.
* Issue formal employment documents and streamline the induction process.
* Lead and support critical HR meetings, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
* Provide expert HR advice to employees and Line Managers, and chair ER meetings.
* Coordinate with Payroll to manage employee information and absence records.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Solid background in HR practices and principles.
* Proficient in managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
* Expertise in Excel, capable of handling Macros, complex formulas, V-Look Ups, and data analysis.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Current knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
