Contentious Construction Lawyer (7+ years’)
A leading firm is seeking an experienced lawyer with a strong background in construction and engineering disputes to join the team in Edinburgh. This team handles significant domestic and international disputes, offering services across the entire project life cycle, from procurement strategies to dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work on high-quality construction and engineering projects, providing both advisory and dispute resolution services
* Manage cases involving adjudication, arbitration, litigation, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Take advantage of opportunities for secondments and professional growth
* Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment
Ideal Candidate:
* At least 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in construction and engineering law
* Skilled in managing disputes and leading teams
* Strong technical skills, a solid academic background, and excellent communication abilities
* Commercially aware, efficient, and open to innovative practices
* Proactive in their own development and supportive of others’ growth
* Qualified in Scotland and/or England & Wales
