Job Description:
Bennett and Game are currently working with a company dedicated to providing top-tier logistics services, specializing in sea, air, road, and rail freight management, warehousing, customs brokerage, and e-commerce logistics. Since their inception in 2018, they have grown rapidly and are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join the team. This role is fully remote, with all necessary equipment provided by the company.
Operations Manager Key Responsibilities * Oversee and manage all aspects of logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
* Coordinate with freight agents, hauliers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders.
* Develop and implement operational strategies to improve service delivery.
* Monitor and manage data input and logistics software (CargoWise).
* Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
* Handle escalations and resolve issues related to shipments, customs, and logistics processes.
* Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Prepare and analyse operational reports, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Operations Manager Position Requirements * Extensive experience in logistics operations and freight forwarding.
* Proven track record in managing road, sea, and air freight operations.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Proficient in using CargoWise and other logistics management systems.
Operations Manager Position Remuneration * Salary range: £40,000-50,000 per annum.
* 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
