Live In Housekeeper Job - Staffordshire - start ASAP - £30,000+ GPA - Cottage accommodation provided
Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join a small team to look after a large period property in rural Staffordshire. The property is a private residence as well as being used as a wedding and events venue.
The main function of this role will be to look after the private residence of the client on the estate but you will also be involved in the commercial side of the estate which includes the main property and additional holiday let properties.
This will be a varied role and an opportunity to become part of the wider estate team. You will work alongside the resident Caretaker (placed by Greycoat) to ensure the smooth running of the properties and this is a key role on the estate.
The client is looking for a Housekeeper who can work under their own initiative, who takes great pride in their work and who takes care. Highly recommended working environment by other team members.
The duties will include:
* Looking after a private residence on the estate, normally three mornings per week - all hands on cleaning, laundry and ironing
* Assisting with house sitting when the client is away
* Looking after the chickens
* Help with home cooking, jam making using home grown produce
* On the commercial side you will work with the Caretaker to ensure that agency staff are booked as required to assist during events
* Hands on cleaning and housekeeping both of the main property and holidays lets - being hands on as well as drafting in additional help when needed
* Ensuring that the main property and holiday lets are ready for occupancy and always kept to a high standard
