Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a metals manufacturer between Huddersfield and Bradford who, due to a significant increase in orders, are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their operation.
Reporting into the QHSE Manager, the Quality Assurance Engineer will support in ensuring conformance to ISO9001/14001 & 45001 whilst updating documentation across the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead the team utilising the principles of our ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
* Ensure that the policies and procedures required for the Quality Management System are reviewed, updated, implemented and maintained.
* Co-ordinate/manage the internal audit system.
* Carry out quality system audits in accordance with company audit schedules.
* Co-ordinate external audits/visits by customers and 3rd party accreditation/approvals bodies.
* Manage non-conformance reports (NCR’s) arising from internal or external sources.
* Liaise with action owners for timely completion with agreed timeframes.
* Prepare and report on department monthly KPI’s.
* To comply with the requirements of the company’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality system
* Liaise directly with Customers relating to any quality related matters.
* Carry out Quality training with all staff to improve quality awareness.
I’m keen to speak to experienced Quality Engineer’s with the following skillset:
* Experienced working as a Quality Engineer within manufacturing environment
* Auditor to ISO9001
* Strong knowledge of problem solving tools and lean methodologies
