We are looking for a CNC Miller - Setter / Operator / Programmer to join a precision sub-contracting engineering company near Ely. You will produce high quality components typically used in various industries like Pharmaceutical, Medical etc.
This is an interesting role, setting and operating various CNC Mills up to 4 Axis, using Haas and Hurco, producing low to high volume components.
In return you will receive: Flexibility in start and finish times over a 40-hour week, time and a half for overtime and 25 days annual leave.
What you will need to succeed as a CNC Miller:
* Ideally you will be a time served mechanical engineer trained in machine shop technology and working practices.
* Able to read code and program
* Possess strong time management skills
* Experience with setting and operating multi axis CNC Mills.
* Any programming is desirable.
* Ability to produce one off and multiple parts to drawings.
* CAD/CAM (One CNC,) - Desirable.
* Ability to read & understand engineering drawings.
* Efficient and confident with inspecting own work.
