Job Description:
Interim Opportunity - Handyman
Venn Group are working with a large private school in Essex to recruit for a full-time Handyman/ Cartaker
Hourly rate: £18-20 per hour thorugh an umbrella company
Length: 3 -4 months +
Location: Essex
The successful candidate will:
* Be responsible for all aspects general maintenance for the school
* Undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance work across all school buildings
* Be responsible for general repairs to buildings identified through risk assessment and fire risk assessment typically including adjusting/replacing door closers
* Provide general maintenance duties within the skillset and assist the maintenance team in ensuring planned and reactive works are completed
* Ensure that school facilities, equipment, plant, premises and grounds of the school are maintained
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* An enhanced DBS
* Health & Safety knowledge of risk assessment
