Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Stroke Team

Position: Band 6 Occupational Therapist
Contract: 12 weeks (with potential to extend)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Salary: Competitive Band 6 Rates
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for stroke rehabilitation? Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic Stroke Team. This temporary role offers the chance to impact patient care while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to stroke patients, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
* Educate patients and their families about stroke management and recovery strategies.
* Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
* At least one year of neurorehabilitation experience, with a preference for stroke experience.
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge of stroke rehabilitation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
