Child Protection Social Worker
Bristol City Council are looking to expand their current team. The Child Protection team is looking for a Social Worker to join a well-structured and organised team. This Child Protection Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Child Protection Social Worker Responsibilities Include:
* Responsible for the management of CIN Cases
* Implementing CIN plans
* Reviewing CIN plans
* Planning 6 weekly CIN meetings
* Carrying out 4 weekly CIN visits
* Attending Court re, designation of supervision orders.
* Arranging Missing person strategy meeting
* Working with a range of professionals/services associated with missing young people
* Managing child protection case
* Carrying out 2 weekly statutory visits
Requirements / Experience preferred:
* Post qualifying experience of working as a Integrated Pathways Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry.
* HCPC Registration
* 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
* Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
