Our client is one of Wiltshire’s leading companies in the logistic industry, and they are looking for a Driver to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient delivery and collections of goods, whilst providing excellent customer service and knowledge on an array of different products. This role will be covering the West Country & Wiltshire Area.
Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently deliver/collect goods to meet customer requirements and expectations
* Report any customer feedback or concerns promptly
* Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with company procedures
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the company vehicle
* Drive the vehicle responsibly and adhere to traffic and safety regulations
* Ensure proper and secure loading of goods
* Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the line manager promptly
* Comply with current Health & Safety and Environmental policies
* Adhere to all other Company Policies
* Demonstrate a positive work attitude and alignment with the company’s aims and objectives
* Handle customer queries efficiently and provide professional service at all times
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience working within a logistics operation is essential
* Excellent verbal communication abilities
* Knowledge of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental) legislation
* Basic knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance
* Flexibility in timekeeping to accommodate the nature of the job
Due to the nature of the role, a full driving license is essential.
The hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm
