The role of this Corporate Communication Manager - Retail is responsible for developing and implementing company corporate PR strategy within both their external and internal communication policy. The role will report into the Senior PR & Communication Manager.. The roles and responsibilities of Corporate Communication Manager - Retail -. * Collaborate with the Senior PR Manager to craft messaging for external communications and ensure the successful delivery of corporate business announcements.. * Oversee and contribute to the creation and delivery of press releases and external statements.. * Confidently handle incoming inquiries from business and retail media.. * Partner with the communications team to plan and execute key business milestones, including Company Results.. * Assist in managing the Group’s Communications Calendar and proactively identify new opportunities for the executive team.. * Work closely with relevant stakeholders to maintain a smooth flow of information (including financial results) throughout the organisation.. * Coordinate with the People team to align internal and external communication strategies.. * Develop long-term communication strategies in partnership with external corporate PR advisors.. * Monitor and analyse social, economic, and political trends.. * Develop & Possess a well-established network of journalists and industry peers.. To be successful in this Corporate Communication Manager - Retail -. * Ideally having min 5 years + in PR or communications role at an officer, executive or manager level.. * You must have relevant agency or retail experience working in a fast-paced environment.. * Experience supporting the communication of financial results is advantageous. * Strong communication skills and attention to detail.. * Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing demands.. * A business-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of UK M&A, Financial results (the business is listed on the stock exchange). * Has a mixture of external and internal comms.
