Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant

Pay Rate: £22 Per Hour

The role:
Within the context of self-directed support, personalisation and working as a member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for meeting the assessment, care management and support needs of vulnerable adults the post holder will:
* Manage an independent caseload assessing people with physical disabilities/ sensory impairment/ mental ill health/ learning disabilities.
* Take specific responsibility for the provision of appropriate equipment / minor and major adaptations / assistive technology and the planning/implementation of appropriate re-ablement programmes.
The candidate
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of the role of an occupational therapist in a community setting
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of disability issues
* Must have own vehicle and full driving licence
