Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled Shop Floor Team are delighted to be working in partnership with a manufacturing business based within the Rotherham area.

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team at this exciting time of expansion.

SALARY: up to £35,000
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:00

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Set and operate Fanuc controlled CNC turning machines
* Work to customer specifications with minimal supervision once trained.
* Maintain high quality while working to tight tolerances, taking responsibility for you own work.
* Use initiative to understand and follow the manufacturing process.
* Report tooling requirements to your immediate supervisor. 
* Maintain a clean and organised working area.
* Take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks related to your role, and control or report them to management as appropriate.
* Identify hazards effectively. 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* Proven experience as a CNC operator
* Proficient in using hand tools, mills and other machinery
* Understanding of tooling operations
* Strong attention to detail and precision
* Engineering based qualification or time served
