Overview 
*We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Handler to join our clients Global Markets team.
*As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in processing and settling complex claims related to aviation, energy, marine, and liability within the global market. 
Responsibilities 
*Review and assess various types of claims including aviation (cargo and hull), energy (offshore), casualty, marine (cargo and hull), and liability claims
*Communicate with clients, brokers, and underwriters to gather necessary information and documentation for claims processing
*Analyse policy coverage and applicable laws to determine the validity of claims
*Conduct thorough investigations and collaborate with other departments to resolve and settle claims in a timely manner
*Maintain accurate claim files and documentation while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards
*Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the claims process 
Qualifications  
*CII, or working towards preferred
Experience 
*Experience in handling complex claims within the aviation, energy, marine, and liability fields preferred.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions
*Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
*Familiarity with insurance policies, regulations, and legal considerations
Day-to-Day 
*Reviewing and prioritising incoming claims
*Analysing claim documentation and supporting evidence
*Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
*Negotiating claim settlements
*Maintaining accurate claim records and databases
*Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and regulations
