Job Description:
Our client is a highly successful, pioneering and diverse agriculture group on the Suffolk/Norfolk boarder off the A140 whose reputation throughout the UK and Europe is built on trust, excellence and innovation. Privately owned, the business is transitioning into a new era of leadership and growth, which requires a highly skilled Financial Controller to join the team. With the flexibility to work hybrid (ideally 3 days in the office), this is a superb opportunity to work in a complex, commercial and ambition business overseeing the day to day accounting of a multimillion-pound business with multiple subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
* Timely and efficient production of monthly management accounts and analysis of KPIs
* Weekly review of individual cost centres P&Ls, business partnering with Directors ad Operational leads to support informed decision making
* Oversee and manage the audit process, conducting year-end analysis and preparation of accounts for auditors
* Commentary and cost analysis across all business activities
* Drive cashflow through effective working capital management and credit control
* Drive efficiencies and process improvements
* Management of a small transactional team.
Our client is looking for a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant with a credible level of experience within Financial Control and Management Reporting. Demonstrating excellent analytical and problem solving skills, you will have a strong knowledge of working with ERP systems (SAP would be beneficial) and be proactive in your approach. You will be comfortable managing a small team, mentoring and developing to their best ability. The ideal candidate will have experience working within complex business model, be hands on and have great attention to detail. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills and be a strong business partner with the ability to work with all levels of people across the organisation.
