We are looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to work assisting children who need extra academic support to start as soon as possible in a school in BB4 area. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to gain more experience and build on their CV.

Requirements
* SEN experience or any experience working with children is fine
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to get one)
* Strong work ethic
* Able to adapt to the different needs of the child
* Be able to liaise with parents and other staff
* Good safeguarding knowledge
Responsibilities
* Support the child with additional needs
* Providing support to the child both academically and socially
* Assisting the teacher with the paperwork in keeping track of the progress of the child
* Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support
* Doing 1:1 interventions, mainly maths and English
