Newstaff Employment are seeking a dedicated and talented Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen in Swanton Morley, Norfolk, NR20.
£16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section according to the restaurant’s standards.
* Manage and train junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and apprentices.
* Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of your section.
* Assist in developing new menu items, contributing innovative ideas and feedback.
* Monitor and control stock levels, reducing wastage and ensuring freshness.
* Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards at all times.
* Support the kitchen team in delivering a consistent, top-quality dining experience.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
* A strong passion for food and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of culinary excellence.
* NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent is desirable.
