Learning Support Assistant - Chessington
We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work within a wonderful SEND school located in the Chessington area. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support children 1:1 with special needs and you will be an important member of staff ensuring that all children receive tailored help as a Learning Support Assistant.

Contract type: Full-time, temporary
Salary: £85 - £100 per day
The Role:
* Work with children 1:1 when needed to provide specialised support
* A Learning Support Assistant requires you to work one-on-one or in a small group, supporting children with their education, behavioural and social development
* Assisting Teachers to plan learning activities, prepare learning materials, complete records, and carry out administrative tasks
* Help children who need extra support to complete tasks
* Ensure pupils feel comfortable and confident in their own abilities
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people or SEND children in any capacity
* You will need the ability to monitor each pupil’s responses and adapt the learning activities to suit their needs
* Have excellent verbal and written English skills
* Must be able to demonstrate that you are trustworthy and ethical
* Either live in Chessington or within a commutable distance
