Are you available from September 2024 to work as a TA - Teaching Assistant with a special school based between rural Horsham and Guildford?. The school are flexible and can accommodate full or part time hours and will also consider a range of experience from other backgrounds including residential support worker, a care worker that have worked with adults or the elderly, learning support assistant, individual needs assistant etc.. This is a small school of approx 30 children, ranging from primary to secondary school age. The children have SEMH - Social, Emotional, Mental Health issues and need the additional support of Teaching Assistants both in and out of the classroom to support them with their learning and to ensure they are safe and have everything they need.. You will be based with a small class of 3 children or on occasion on a 1:1 basis.. The team of staff are friendly and supportive. This is a rewarding job where no two days are the same.. Offering £90 per day, depending on experience.. This is a temporary or supply job with a possible permanent opportunity for the right person.
