Job Description:
SEN Teacher (1:1 Tuition) * Location: Leeds
* Job Type: Full-Time
* Salary: Competitive
We are currently looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to provide bespoke 1:1 tuition to a pupil in Leeds. The role is ideal for someone with a robust background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the necessary qualifications to meet the pupil’s distinctive learning needs.
Day to Day of the Role: * Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition, creating a tailored learning experience for the pupil.
* Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to facilitate the pupil’s learning and development.
* Work collaboratively with a team of two other staff members to maintain a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
* Monitor and assess the pupil’s progress, providing regular feedback to parents and relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Proven experience working with SEN pupils.
* Relevant teaching qualifications.
* Experience with children affected by Post-Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
