SEN Teacher * Location: Bramley, Guildford
* Job Type: Full-time ASAP Start
* Salary: £33,075 - £48,719
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team, providing specialist support to boys with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our students’ lives, empowering them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
Day to day of the role: * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH.
* Assess and record students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Develop and implement strategies for teaching and behaviour management in conjunction with colleagues.
* Participate actively in school events, training, and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience working with children with SEMH needs.
* A strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and frameworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
