Science Teacher * Location: Thanet Coast
* Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (until end of December)

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school located on the beautiful Thanet Coast. This full-time, temporary position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about science education and enjoys a dynamic teaching environment. The role involves delivering pre-planned science lessons and providing general cover when needed, with no planning and marking required.
Day to Day of the Role: * Deliver engaging science lessons to secondary school students using pre-set lesson plans.
* Provide general cover across various subjects as required, ensuring continuity of learning for students.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Utilise a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
* Monitor student engagement and participation, providing support and encouragement.
* Liaise with other staff members to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in science.
* Experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and needs within the school.
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and student development.
