Competitive hourly rate - 8 - 4 shift pattern. Weekend on, weekend off.
We’re looking for friendly, caring individuals with transferable who can show a high level of care to service users when providing a clean, safe and hygienic environment. A good level of written and verbal English will be required.
The Role:
You will help maintain high standards of hygiene to all areas of the care home in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements. You will also support person-centred care by enabling service users to have their rooms cleaned and tidied at a time appropriate for them.
Responsibilities will include:
* Ensure that service users are at the heart of cleaning routines and that the Home is a clean and safe environment
* To contribute to the efficient running of the service
* To follow the cleaning schedules and report any issues that prevent this.
* Liaise with care staff to establish the appropriateness of areas to be cleaned around individual residents.
* Be responsible for reporting any maintenance issues to the Manager
