Job Description:
Office Assistant * Job Type: Permanent. Part time.
* Hours of work: Monday to Friday. 20 hours per week.
* Location: Leyton
We are seeking a highly organised, efficient and flexible Office Assistant to join an established company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data entry and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
* Perform accurate data entry tasks, updating information in the databases to keep records current.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support, including filing, organizing paperwork, and managing electronic files.
* Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, directing them to appropriate staff members.
* Assist with the coordination of schedules, appointments, and meetings.
* Utilise computer systems and software, including QuickBooks and Google Suite, to complete tasks effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Previous administrative/office experience
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
* Experience with QuickBooks for financial recordkeeping is desirable.
* Familiarity with Google Suite for document and spreadsheet management.
* Flexibility as may be required to work extra hours where required
