Job Description:
Are you enthusiastic about science and eager to support engaging, hands-on learning in a dynamic secondary school?
Tradewind are looking for a dedicated Science Technician to join a large secondary school in Oldham.
This is a full-time, long-term role, beginning ASAP.
Responsibilities:
* Preparing chemicals, materials, and equipment for science experiments
* Safely storing and disposing of hazardous substances, in line with COSHH regulations and general procedures in a laboratory setting
* Supporting teachers and students during practical activities
* Maintaining a clean and organised lab environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a similar role
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
* Provide professional references
