Management Accountant | £37,000 - £40,000 | 12-month FTC | Manchester | Hybrid:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their team for a 12 month FTC. The role offers hybrid working/flexi-time, generous annual leave and other great benefits. 
Duties:

* Responsible for monitoring revenue and capital budgets
* Provide support and advice for the wider business, including colleagues with a non-financial background 
* Understand guidelines and regulations for financial reporting 
* Managing numerous cost centres within the organisation 
* Managing and allocating government grants 
Experience:

* Previous experience working in the wider public sector as a Management Accountant or a similar position 
* Strong experience managing government grants and liaising with project managers 
* Experience managing multiple cost centres and has the ability to work self sufficiently 
* Advanced excel skills and strong financial system knowledge 
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
