Description
Company Accountant
*Responsible for the preparation, analysis, and consolidation of financial statements across the group of companies.
*Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the group in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, or local accounting standards.
*Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts for the group.
*Monitor actual performance against the budget and provide variance analysis and commentary.
*Work with the finance team to improve financial reporting systems and processes.
*Identify opportunities to streamline consolidation, reporting, and analysis processes across the group.
Profile
The Successful Company Accountant:
*Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on accounting applications
*Studying toward either ACCA or CIMA
*Be comfortable working within a rapidly growing business
*Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
*Confident in advanced MS Excel techniques
*Comfortable working autonomously or collaboratively
*Excellent communication skills
