Job Description:
Reed Business Support in Colchester are currently recruiting an Operations Manager to lead and manage the operations team of our fast growing client. This role is pivotal in creating a positive culture, ensuring compliance, and overseeing the efficient management of stock and fleet. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in operational excellence.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
*Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and ensure high performance.
*Oversee stock checking and monitoring processes to maintain optimal inventory levels.
*Manage fleet operations, including regular checks and maintenance scheduling.
*Ensure all operations comply with industry standards and legal regulations.
*Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
*Analyse operational data and reports to make informed decisions and adjustments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in an operational leadership role.
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
*Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
*Knowledge of compliance regulations and industry standards.
*Experience in stock and fleet management.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
