Role: Transformation Manager - MUST have Previous NHS experience at senior management
Salary: Agenda for change Band 8C PAYE contract
Location: East Midlands - Hybird working
Contract: 6 months with an immediate start
The Transformation Programme Manager will lead the implementation and delivery of several high profile and complex programmes and workstreams across the Trust, ensuring that the core principles of programme management are embedded consistently, whilst maintaining a focus on continuous quality improvement.
The post holder is responsible for assessing the existing portfolio of programmes, providing recommendations to improve our approach to change and project delivery, and support the development of an effective programme governance approach. In doing so, the post holder will lead the planning, delivering and evaluation methods for new or future programmes and ensuring that they are set up to deliver over a number of years.
The post holder will strategically support from a PMO perspective the most critical programmes currently in delivery in the Trust, and lead the PMO team to ensure consistent delivery across the full suite of programmes and projects. Significant experience in programme management is required as there is an expectation to work across departments and all levels of the organisation to inspire, design and lead these improvement programmes. As well as being technically competent, there will be a need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication so you can work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the Trust.
The Transformation Programme Manager will act with the highest level of autonomy and be expected to be the lead for managing complex programmes which impact across the Trust. The post holder will be self-driven and be able to manage multiple priorities and provide direction to teams to achieve the plan set out. The post holder will demonstrate effective leadership skills, not only in working with a range of stakeholders to deliver change within the programmes, but in leading a project team which could be made up of project managers and colleagues from wider change and support teams.
