Job Summary:
The Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Band 5 Theatre Nurse to join our surgical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment in the operating theatre.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist in preparing the operating theatre and equipment for surgical procedures.
*Provide care to patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety.
*Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care and support.
*Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition during procedures.
*Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to post-operative assessments.
Key Requirements:
*Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
*Experience in a theatre environment is preferred but not essential.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations.
*Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety.
