Job Title: Trainee Accounts Assistant
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000
Top of the range will be offered to a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
We are currently recruiting for a valued client of ours that are based in Wolverhampton. The company are consistently growing and have a brilliant team, it’s close-knit wand family feel! We are looking for a candidate that is keen to kick-start their career in Accounts! Some experience in an Administration or Transactional Accounts role would be ideal, however it is not essential as the client is willing to provide all necessary training! If you are a candidate that wants to learn from those around you and get involved with the team, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities Will Include:
*Work alongside the Company Accountant to complete Credit Control duties including credit checks and cash allocation
*Perform general filing and archiving duties
*Respond to general enquiries over the telephone in a professional and polite manner
*Record payments into the cashbook and update the system accordingly
*Manage sales invoicing, raise credit notes and update company reports
*Undertake any other general ad-hoc duties as required.
Ideally, You Will:
*Have completed or be studying towards your AAT qualification
*Ideally, you will have some experience working in an office in an Administration or Transactional Accounts role
*Have excellent communication skills in order to get on with the team and build relationships with customers/suppliers
*Be a positive individual that is keen to learn from those around them and grow with the business!
