Bromley Beacon Academy (BBA) is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team, providing specialist education for children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Day to Day of the role: *Delivering engaging science lessons to students with SEMH needs across various key stages.
*Developing core skills in literacy and numeracy while offering a broad curriculum to spark student interest.
*Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that caters to individual student needs.
*Collaborating with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and improve educational outcomes.
*Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
*Contributing to the school’s ongoing development and success.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching science.
*Understanding of the educational needs of students with SEMH.
*Ability to plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons.
*Strong communication skills and proficiency in spoken English as per the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
*Willingness to engage with continuous professional development.
