Job Description:
Maths Teacher
*Location: Northampton
*Start Date: January 2025
*Contract: Permanent
*Salary: £32,000 - £45,000
We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Northampton. The role is due to start on a permanent basis starting from January 2025.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
*Employ effective classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
*Prepare educational materials that stimulate learning across different abilities.
*Assess and record students’ progress, offering feedback to aid their development.
*Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons.
*Participate in school meetings and events as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) status.
*Minimum of three terms of experience within a UK secondary school.
*Proficient classroom management skills.
*A resourceful and enthusiastic approach to teaching Maths.
*Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum.
*Two strong references from previous educational roles.
