Job Description:
Science Teacher
*Location: Cheshunt
*Start Date: January 2025
*Contract: Permanent
We are seeking a Science Teacher for a highly regarded secondary school in the Cheshunt area. This role is permanent and is due to start from January 2025.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about teaching science subjects including biology, chemistry, and physics.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging and effective science lessons across various topics including biology, chemistry, and physics.
*Develop innovative lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and encourage critical thinking.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration and respect.
*Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field.
*Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards.
*Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not essential.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
