Job Description:
A highly regarded broking organisation, with a global reach, and a local feel are looking to offer the opportunity for someone to step up into a leadership position, and develop the skills and expertise of an existing team, to deal with larger, and more complex commercial clients.
You’ll need to be someone who cares about the client and the service they receive, as well as caring about your team, and ensuring they are supported and trained to deliver the very best quality service they can.
Prior management experience isn’t required, attitude, a strong commercial insurance background, and the ability to empathise, train and support a team are the skills and attributes being sought for this role…
About the Role:
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Client Service Team Leader / Manager to lead, train, support and motivate a team of client service professionals to continually deliver best in class service, whilst up skilling them to handle larger and more complex commercial clients.
More specific duties will include;
*Ensure the delivery of a coordinated and managed high quality, innovative client service relating to a broad range of personal and commercial insurance products.
*Coach, develop and performance manage the team ensuring personal development plan objectives are in place
*Ensure all team members attend relevant personal development courses in line with their role
*Attract, develop and retain talented individuals in line with business plans
*Ensure the working environment is always positive, motivational and enthusiastic
*Build and maintain a strong understanding of products/facilities and other offerings
*Assist in driving change through the business, allocating resources where necessary.
*Liaise with staff to ensure that business transactions with clients are being handled in a compliant and robust way
*Ensure that file reviews and technical audits are carried out
*Ensure contract certainty and compliance across the office.
*Act as a role model encouraging problem solving and innovation
Key Skills/Experience Required:
In order to be considered for the role of Client Service Team Leader, you must possess the following;
*Experience of working within a commercial insurance environment in a comparable role, either for an insurer or Broker.
*Management experience is desirable, but the willingness to train, support and the right attitude are the most important thing.
*Insurance qualifications preferred but not essential (you must be prepared to do the Cert CII)
*Solid understanding of insurance market dynamics
*Good influencing, listening and communication skills.
*Candidates will be welcomed from broking and insurer sides of the market
Salary/Benefits Information:
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Market Leading Bonus and Benefits
