Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in the Prestwick area.
Shift Pattern:
*Early: Monday – Thursday 6am – 2pm, Friday 6am 11am
*Back: Monday – Thursday 2pm – 10pm, Friday 11am – 4pm
Hourly Rate: Up to £24p/hour (including shift allowance)
OT: Weekdays and Saturday 1.5x, Sunday 2x
Daily Duties –
*Operate manual and CNC milling machines to the required standard adhering to engineering drawings and specifications
*Use inspection equipment to ensure all sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes are accurate
*Ensure processes are carried out in accordance with company procedures and correctly booking on/off jobs
*Keep machine and work area clean and ensuring tools and equipment returned after use
Candidates Requirements –
*Time-served or relevant engineering qualification
*Previous turning or milling experience within a machine shop
*Driving Licence
