Location: Wexham Park Hospital
Working Hours : 37.5hours (Monday - Friday)

Specialist speech and language therapist HCPC Level C dysphagia competencies and experience working in adult acute setting. Desirable ICU experience including tracheostomy management .
• HCPC Registration
• UK NHS Experience
• Post registration experience in rehabilitation and condition management.
The Specialist Speech and Language Therapist will deliver high-quality clinical services to adults within an acute care setting, focusing on the management of communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will hold Level C competencies in dysphagia management and demonstrate extensive experience in working with adult patients in an acute environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical Expertise:
*Provide specialized assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in adult patients.
*Utilize Level C dysphagia competencies to manage complex cases, including risk assessment, intervention planning, and implementation.
*Apply evidence-based practice to inform clinical decisions and maintain high standards of patient care.
*Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
