Location: Worcester
Contract: Full-Time, 4 Months
Start Date: Immediate
Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking for a fulfilling role in a supportive environment? We are seeking a full-time locum Occupational Therapist to join our team in Worcester for a four-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver specialist Occupational Therapy services aimed at enhancing independence for our clients and minimizing their reliance on carer support.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assess and identify options to improve client independence using a range of equipment and assistive technology.
*Implement manual handling techniques to support safe mobility and daily living activities.
*Provide training to clients and their families to promote skill development and confidence.
*Conduct early reviews of post-hospital discharge care packages to ensure effective resource use and foster independence.
*Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery and optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
*Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration.
*Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
*Strong assessment and intervention skills.
*Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
