Our vision for the future involves revitalising our Clapham campus to better serve our students and the wider community. Job Purpose:
We are looking to recruit a Director of Essential Skills who will be responsible for the strategic leadership of our adult provision at Lambeth Gateway College and for the English, maths and Entry to Employment ?offer.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong track record of curriculum delivery, engaging with employers and other key stakeholders and will utilise this experience to enable us to become a centre of excellence.
As a member of the senior management team, you will be reporting to the Principal and contribute to the success of the organisation, its students, and employees.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to motivate and inspire others with a focus on setting and maintaining high standards, supporting and developing staff with a proactive and positive approach.
You will also need sound specialist knowledge and previous teaching experience in one or more relevant curriculum area (English, maths or entry to employment) with a focus on curriculum innovation and curriculum development and planning.
Permanent – Full Time - 36 hours per week – All year round
Please note: The successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
